Chosen Solution
I just got a Mac Pro and I’ve been using Windows on it but I wanted to do video editing so I decided to use macOS but when I tried to boot into recovery it didn’t give a mac choosing screen and it wouldn’t let me boot from CD or USB, I couldn’t even get it to boot to startup manager. Can anyone help? System specs: dual Cpu Intel Xeon, 10 gigs ddr3 ram, 1 tb hard drive, and a different graphics card (Pegatron graphics card I think,I have a feeling that is the problem because the one that came with it died eventually)
My first though is that the machines system has been upgraded using, probably DosDude patch. With these patches into Mojave or Catalina the loading screen does not appear, it just opens to the full screen. Second thought is the video card, if it is set up for Mac or has been flashed to Mac and is it Metal capable. Personally I would attempt a boot from a known intact system like Sierra.
