Probable clutch. The issue with your Kenmore 80 washer could be a bad clutch, defective basket drive, or a defective gear case. Is there a burning smell when the washer is trying to turn? If so is it an electrical smell or rubber smell? Also, where is the clicking noise coming from? The tub area, motor area, or the control panel area?
