awr1-1w. When I turn it on there is a very short, loud buzz from speakers. Then no audio output. display works fine and shows choice of station and time when turned off. keypad on top functions perfectly just no audio after initial loud buzz.

Hi Mate, not sure if you’ve managed to fix this thing yet as it’s been a few years, but I fixed mine (which had the same fault) today by replacing the two small 0.47uF 50v electrolytic capacitors in front of the amplifier chip, hope this helps!

@sierra26 noise like that is usually related to bad capacitors etc. You will have to disassembly your Bose and take a look at the components. Check for obvious damage like leaking or bulging capacitors. etc. Post some good images of your boards so we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that.
