I bought a gtx 1070 and gave it to my lil bro to install in pc, but he weirdly put the 6 pins before installing the gpu in the pci port, when he heard the frying sound( instantly removed power) but the damage is done yet we tested the card still work, anyway i tore the card to find the fried component that still work but sure not for long time

Is there a way to fix it?

can you take a picture from the side instead of top down? it looks like a coil. which is VERY easily replaced with a little soldering knowledge. thankfully it doesnt look like theres too many sensitive components that could be damaged by replacing this. ( some times with hot air you can damage surrounding SMD components) the hardest part is going to finding a picture or schematics to figure out what coil it is that needs to be replaced. you can also send this off to a reputable repair shop so they can figure out.

It is an inductor. I would use it as long as you can. If it disconnects no harm is done. The card just stop working and then you can have it repaired. Odds are it is usable.
