Chosen Solution

Hello, Has anyone looked into the long term effects of repairing batteries/screens/other cell phone parts? I was wondering what type of effect, if any, it has on a person. If you have sources link them as well. Thank you! P.S. I chose the iPhone XS Max because I had to choose a device to post the question. This question isn’t specific to just that phone but all devices.

This is just from what I’ve researched months ago, as I had the exact same question before I got into repairing devices.

Cracked phone screens have a chance of emitting radiation, more than the phone usually does. And punctured batteries, or even not punctured ones, emit fumes that you obviously shouldn’t be breathing in. So from my research months ago there is almost no long term health conditions, as long as you are in a vented area, and dont get your hands all up in battery acid, you will be fine. Hopefully this encourages you enough until a health professional can answer in more detail. My grandpa used to work on electronics for over a decade, and he’s living in perfect health, at 86 :)
