The logic board on (what I think is late 2013, it’s Model A1502) MacBook Pro is dead. The Apple store confirmed this but said it would be $615 to fix. I’d like to just fix it myself, but I’m not sure which logic board to buy. I think mine was 2.4 GHz, but I’m not sure how to check since the computer won’t boot or respond to any key presses. I see that they have 2.4, 2.6, and 2.8 GHz logic boards for this model. So is it possible for me to replace my broken 2.4 GHz board with a 2.8 GHz logic board? I would need to order tools as well because I’m living in Bangkok at the moment. Thank you
