Hey guys, I have this issue today after I replace an iPhone 7 plus screen. Is not the first time for replacing the screen for the iPhone 7 Plus. After I replaced the screen is works fine but freeze on Apple logo and the logic board get really hot and is not booting to the system! I tried every time and disconnected from the battery cable to turn off. Any help guys? Thank you

disconnect all the ribbons and just plug in the lcd connector and the battery and see if this lets the phone boot to the main screen, if not and the phone is still overheating try and locate where most of the heat is coming from

It’s the display. iPhone 7 and up don’t have a physical home button so in the instance that you connect the flex cable that runs the home button you can run into this issue. Doesn’t happen all the time but with some after market displays the button isn’t coded properly. Meaning your phone just can’t process the fact that you have a home button and the software never loads.

Have you tried reconnecting the broken screen? Do you have another screen to test it with?
