Chosen Solution
I have an LG 65UJ6300-UA (software version 06.00.04) and the screen gets dimmer as it goes towards the top. I am pretty handy and can probably replace most parts, but I don’t know what to replace or what to test (I tried LG, but they weren’t helpful). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
danlipka not sure if it is the picture or if it is your screen, but it sure looks like its pretty blue across your screen. Now, it is possible that your backlight strips are failing. All LED’s are blue in the beginning so that could be a good indication. To repair this, you would have to completely disassemble your LCD panel. Not a terrible job but needs a bit of space and lots of patience.
