The 3.5 mm headphone/microphone jack on my Lenovo Legion Y545 has been broken from a headphone cable being yanked out of it at a weird angle. Whenever I plug a headphone cable into it, I either hear nothing or when I turn the audio jack at a certain angle, I only hear audio from the left side of my headphones. I know that I need to replace the headphone/microphone combo jack, but how would I go about finding out what component I need to order and how to replace it? Thank you very much for your help!

Hi @nullpointerex To remove/replace the headphone/mic combo jack you need to remove the systemboard from the laptop to gain proper access as it is hard mounted on the board Here’s the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop. Go to p.47 to view the procedure to remove the systemboard. The part # for the combo jack is 2SJ3095-140111F. The only supplier that I could find, by searching for the part number no longer has any in stock. You may have better luck in finding it. Here’s an image of the jack configuration that may help if you can’t find an exact replacement, as it may help you to find an equivalent. Maybe search here and see if you can find one by inserting the wanted parameters and then looking at the datasheets associated with the items shown in the results.
