Chosen Solution
I left my switch in it’s carrying case for 6 months and forgot to charge it periodically. Now I’m getting no response when plugging the switch directly into power, and the blinking green light when plugging into the dock. i suspect the battery, but don’t have a replacement battery on hand. I have already opened the switch and disconnected the battery and held the power button down for 30 seconds to try and fully reset it. Issue persists. Is a battery replacement likely to resolve this?
Yea, not charging a battery for too long can cause it to not be chargeable anymore, so a replacement battery will definitely be likely to solve your problem (Oh, and next time, think about charging it more often, and also shutting it down instead of putting it in sleep mode will drain the battery way slower).
