Chosen Solution
Hi, I already looked pretty much everywhere on the Internet and hopefully somebody has the same issue: The left brush of my Samsung Navibot S keeps spinning even if the bot is soft-off. I already found this thread Samsung Navibot SR8845 power on makes left brush spin? and replaced the capacitor CE1 with a 20V 10 µF one. It didn’t help and I would be very glad if someone could help me. Cheers socram Update (19.10.2017) In case someone has the same issue, here is how I solved it: remove the left of the boards and replace the Mosfet FDT86102LZ from the downside of the board. It’s near the motor connector. After replacing it (you’ll find it on ebay) everything works fine now. I hope I can help someone who also has that issue.
Had this same issue “left brush keeps spinning” after it got stuck in cables . Solution worked: Replace the Mosfet FDT86102LZ - nice Thanks!!! because took me a little to spot the right component, figured I’d take pics and upload for whomever needs to do this next. original in my SR8980 was FDC86102LZ, but could not get that and FDT86102LZ is a good replacement.
Hi, i have the same problem as you had. the left side keeps turning. The robot has two of the FDT86102LZ one on the left and one on the right. do i need to replace the one on the left side only? thanks a lot
Hi @Mr. G.M. Briffa: I checked your picture. To be honest, I have no idea which is the right one for you since I had the Samsung SR8980 NaviBot S which looks different. But you should be able to see which one is the defective one since it somehow looks burned.
Hi My issue is the same - continuously rotating of left brush of NaviBot SR 8845 On the picture are visible two places with overheating/burning but FDC37 AB459 looks good. Please help!
