My refrigerator is leaking gooey,honey like liquid from front right of refrigerator . What is this?
meadowrockers if it is a honey color and honey thickened consistency then it is possible that this could be oil leaking out of the compressor. The compressor is what pushes the refrigerant through the cooling system . If it is leaking then your compressor will fail pretty quick and you will experience a loss of cooling in your fridge. Time to get the experts to look at that. The only other fluid could be coming from a drain. See if you have a drain pan that catches water when your freezer goes into the defrost cycle. It would be unusual to be of honey color or thickness but anything is possible.
