I have an Iphone 5s with broken glass. How do I tell if I just need the LCD Screen and Digitizer, or if I need the “Full Assembly”?
This is where we get into semantics…. I consider a full assembly the LCD and digitizer. Others consider the full assembly the LCD, digitizer and small parts. So it kind of depends what product you are looking at. Here are the options iFixit offers. You cannot buy the LCD and glass separate most times. They are 1 piece that makes up the “assembly” along with a frame. As long as your purchase includes the LCD, Glass, and a frame (which 9 out of 10 do) then you will be fine.
