The lock that secures the ribbon (the plastic flap) broke off while trying to pry it up. Will it work without the lock?
You could try to place teflon tape on top of the ribbon before plugging it in to try to allow the pins in the female connector to touch the lcd flex. Other wise you would need to send that out for service. Otherwise you’ll need to have it repaired professionally.
