LCD replacement for V-Series 50" Class 4K HDR SmartTV VIZIO V505-G9. i’m trying to replace my digitizer or LCD for my tv but can’t find a website that are selling them, please help.
Hi, You may be lucky to find one. Since a broken/cracked screen (if this is the problem and not that is is just a display problem as such) then it won’t be covered the warranty even if it is still valid, anyway. Disconnect the power from the TV and remove the back cover from the TV and find the LCD panel part number which should be printed somewhere on the back of the panel itself. Search online using the part number to hopefully find suppliers of the part. You may find that a replacement panel costs nearly as much as a new TV, so an option to consider is to advertise the TV as faulty, cracked screen - good for parts to try and recoup some of the cost towards a new TV. Replacement TV boards are always being sought after by others that have a TV with a good screen but a faulty board.
