replaced the lcd and glass, customer brought it back with ghost touching and also after time the ipad wouldnt react when touching the screen. placed kapton tape on the glass and still the same issue. i have tried sliding the screen by just touching the lcd but no luck, does it need a new lcd? or will the lcd not react anyways when touching?
This sounds like more of an issue with the digitizer glass/assembly. I’d recommend looking into reseating the cables for the digitizer and making sure no debris are in between the digitizer and the LCD. If not, you might need to look into a new digitizer. Good luck!
