Hi all, I replaced the battery of my Macbook Air last year, and I have been using it very sparely. Today, I left the computer on for half an hour, after being fully charged the whole day. When I came back, the computer was off. I had to connect it to the power to be able to turn it on again, and it was showing 1% in the battery when it was on. Coconut battery shows no problem with the battery, but this is not the first time that it happens. It has only 15 cycles, and the charge is almost 7000 mAh (from the original 7200 mAh). Is there anything I can do?

I think we need to look at your MagSafe charger as the battery looks good! Review this Apple T/N Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters lets make sure your adapter is the correct one, the MagSafe cable is not damaged and the connector faces are clean and not damaged. If the systems MagSafe connection looks discolored you may need to replace it. Lastly, your cycles count is a bit high considering your use pattern. As an example I’m still running on the original battery my system had keep in mind this is an older 2012 unibody MacBook Pro! Divide out my cycles by five years you’ll see your running high in comparison (15 cycles within one year). I suspect you tend to run the battery dry which is not something you want to do with LiOn batteries as you kill one of its lives (cycles).
