Chosen Solution
Hello, i have an Asus ROG Strix GL702V and a few weeks ago, i had a problem with wifi so i just went to restart the laptop to fix the issue but out of nowhere while it was restarting, the laptop booted into BIOS mode so i just force shut it down and then i powered it back on but the screen stayed black and the fans werent spinning. The only sign of life was the LED of the power button which lit up and the charge indicator on the front edge of the laptop. I tried everything like a new BIOS battery, a hard reset, reseating the RAM and using and external monitor.
It seems as if the GPU is dead. I had the same issue with the GL702V and that’s the conclusion I came to.
