Hi, i had the same problem with a small model of acer laptop. The thing is that the battery died due to bad connection. The blinking light is the sing of low battery and inadequate charging.. Is there a red cross over the battery in windows? I’m pretty sure it is the battery. if you have a tester or you are in the possibility to measure out a laptop battery you can check the voltage. But i think the best way is to try an other battery. Battery failure is very common on these models. Kind regards, kevin Update (07/23/2016) what is the percentage of loading ? 0 % or … ? maybe software problem , before the “hard steps” try this : Go to device management in configuration : is there a yellow mark? or is the battery normal? Shut down your laptop, first remove the adapter and the battery … unplug the AC adapter back and check whether the laptop startup without battery. If this test is successful, your ok and you can perform the following : Click Start (Windows key at the bottom left) and enter in the search box at the bottom of device management. In Device Manager, click the triangle Batteries … right click Battery which is ok for Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method … In the menu that opens, choose undo installation, please note: only run for Battery which Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method. After these actions, you restart the laptop, remove the adapter and place the battery in the laptop. When you have inserted the battery, connect back to the adapter and connect the laptop to the outlet Restart laptop and see what the result is of these actions. you can install the tool SPECCY : install these and run it. when you have the log file post it here. good luck Kevin
