laptop only works in plugged in mode only it gets turn off after removing power cable

Hi, Seems as though the battery has failed or is not being charged. With the charger connected does the laptop’s battery charge indicator turn on showing that the battery is being charged etc?. Create a battery report to check the state of the battery. In the report, compare the Design Capacity value versus the Full Charge Capacity value. For a good battery they should nearly be the same. You can calculate the current fully charged state of the battery as a percentage of the Design Capacity to know how good it still is i.e. Full Charge Capacity value x 100 ÷ Design Capacity value = % of Design Capacity If the battery has failed or its full charge state is very low, the battery may need to be replaced. If the laptop’s battery charge indicator light is not turning on when the charger is connected it may be a motherboard problem or perhaps a charger problem (try another compatible charger?) If you think that the battery needs replacing here’s a video that may help. Replacement batteries are available online. Search online for 0B200-02910100 to find suppliers that suit you best.
