How do I get my laptop to start working again? It’s undoing changes bc it the updates couldn’t be completed windows 8 or 8.1 bt right now it’s stuck on undoing changes
HI: Windows 8.1 should fix itself most of the time. We do not know why but being locked up it is not doing anything, so may as well force a shut down by holding your power button down for 10 or seconds, could be longer but it will shut down. Now is your fans blocked or dirty? Make sure they are clean and the exhaust is clean and not blocked. Td do a repair it is going to work hard and a hot processor may lock it again. Boot it back up, it may continue uninstalling stuff or just repair itself. If it asks for you to choose a start up say yes. Now give us more feed back if it locked again, I have had to re boot a couple of times. If it will not then there are ways of returning to factory. Good luck
