Laptop makes a click or spark sound around the CMOS battery area
17 inch HP Pavilion with i5 4th gen processor
Recently replaced my HDD to an SSD and when I went to test out the SSD I accidentally picked up the laptop to turn it around and forgot about the rechargeable battery which immediately turned off the computer. I tried rebooting the computer again and it just turns on all lights with fan running and then few seconds later turns off and hearing a click sound that happens when you hard power it off (holding down the power button) and then repeats What I tried already was resetting the power multiple times and also connecting with only AC adapter to no avail.
well this happened to my old computer and was told that i fried the board while trying to replace my hdd
