The Satellite laptop model C50-B-15Z is stuck on ‘Toshiba Leading Innovation »>’ screen, can not get into Bios or perform any other function. I have tried the following : on powerup used function keys to load Bios without any success! Tried holding down ‘0’ (zero) nothing! Removed battery and mains adaptor held down power button, plugged in mains adaptor turned on got same screen! Removed Hard Drive and Optical drive same result! removed RAM module the laptop would not power up once RAM module replaced back to innovation screen! I have now exhausted the tech help guidance i found on the web and YouTube not had any success cant get into the Bios to try any other media! Not sure if there is anything else i can try, did plug the hard drive into another computer using adaptor cable and managed to retrieve the data of the hard drive. What else if anything can I try in order to determine where the fault maybe or is this the end-of-life Any help/guidance would be appreciated Thank you Kind Regards
These should have 2 RAM module slots. did you put the RAM into the other one to see if slot is dead? Also RAM will FAIL so if you can find a SO-DIMM of the right DDR type to try it as well. If it has 2 RMA in it remove one and try. than move it to other slot and try than do same with second module.
Hi, thank you for your suggestion, the laptop only has one RAM I will try your suggestion I am guessing the 2 slots would be one on top of the other if I can use the other slot and will also try to get hold of a replacement RAM module to try. I will get back with the outcome when done Thanks
