My R button has become unreliable. It only works sometimes, and I don’t see any tutorials on how to replace them like with other buttons. Could anyone help me out?

Blaine Siemiller use something like this guide Nintendo 3DS XL 2015 Motherboard Replacement (Step 8 is where you see the shoulder buttons) or check this video and replace the switches. they will come with their respective flex cable and should be available at multiple places.
