Chosen Solution I have a late 2010 MacBook Air that was functioning quite normally until recently the screen is basically jumbled/glitchy, though the unit itself hasn’t sustained any damage. SMC and PRAM resets haven’t solved the issue, but it is possible to log into the device from another Mac and screen sharing shows that the internal computer itself is functioning just fine. A few google searches suggest that the LED driver IC needs replaced....

Chosen Solution Hi, I had Windows 7 partitioned with four drivers but decided to replace it with Linux Mint 19.3. I made a mistake of erasing all the data as I assumed the new OS will only format drive C and leave the other drives intact. I am now le ft with Linux with no access to all my data with no backup. The question I have is whether I could recover any of my data (400 to 600 GB) with a data recovery software....

Chosen Solution Hi Friends, I have a 2012 Macbook Air that i recently wiped and reinstalled Catalina but i cannot reset the NVRAM using the normal p+r+cmd+opton keys. I was able to do a SMC reset but whenever i hear the chime, none of the keyboard keys respond. Secondly, i attached a external keyboard and still was not able to get it to do a NVRAM reset. I have confirmed the usb ports work and the keyboard works once i’ve booted to the login screen....

I’d call apple and report it. Since the stores are closed ask if a “Depot Repair” its available when you call 1800 MYAPPLE. I also always take out an extra two years of AppleCare coverage on any Mac I have issues with in the first year....

Got it fixed by removing thunderbolt drivers via terminal. Now in big sur, i am having the same problem. Can anyone help me out to solve this problem? You likely need to get your logic board fixed or replaced as the Thunderbolt logic has a problem which you didn’t fix....

Chosen Solution A few months ago the LED on my MagSafe charger suddenly went out. The battery would no longer take a charge. I tested out multiple chargers still to no avail. This week, I finally got around to replacing the MagSafe and when I went to charge it up, still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be happening here? Thanks in advance. Chosen Solution When I turn on my camera the lens won’t open and it says lens error. @tlgg probably of the tracks or broken gears. Check the suggestions made on here. Usually those do not work for me and I end up replacing the lens since parts are seldom available. Good thing about the Coolpix series, all cameras repair about the same way. So check something like this video for the replacements....

Chosen Solution my computer is typing the letter z constantly. I can barzely type this letter!z I took the key off, nothing is stuck. I reset the czomputer. It was an intermittent przoblem, but now seems permanent. Also, the letter z does not type when I press the keyz It definitely sounds like the circuits responsible for the z key are started to ground, causing it to be seen as permanently pressed down by the system....

Chosen Solution So Long story short I had to fix my wireless card on my laptop which I have not turned it on for like 2-3 months. when I put everything together I realised that the keypad was not working at all but I still could use the laptop. Next day I opened my laptop and my daughter was watching something on it then she shut its lid after watching it while the apps were still running....

Chosen Solution Pls my freezer is on but isn’t giving any sound and it’s not freezing.i just stock it up It sounds like the compressor is not working. Did you verify it was plugged in and the breaker was not flipped? Unplug the freezer and plug a light in to verify the outlet has power.

Chosen Solution i have an electrolux fridge model wwtr1802kwe. When my compressor runs my freezer freezes to -17 or so. After it shuts off over time my freezer goes to like the fridge temp of like 35 This is with the temp set to coldest. So like a fridge and freezer at same temp. I changed the temp control thermostat. I set temp to normal after being unplugged for a few days and it started , ran and cooled normally and after a while freezer warm again....

Chosen Solution My left analog stick can move in place by twisting it like a screw, it is causing drift and I’ve tried to do a screwing motion but it doesn’t do anything. You’ll have to open it. You need to determine if the stick is twisting because the stick part you touch is broken or because the peg in the analog module to which the stick attaches is broken. If the thumb stick is broken, replace it, easy and not too expensive....

Chosen Solution Hi, yesterday my Mac mini just decided to stop powering on. Last time I used it was on windows 10 with it being installed by boot camp. I was watching a twitch stream and decided to shut down the system. As i did that, hour later i decided to try to turn it back on but it just won’t. When I attempt to reboot it after replacing the battery and placing the adhesives it boot normally. I tried the battery and it was almost 50%. I checked with the app coconutBattery. After that, I attempt to finish closing the lid under it....
